Living in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire is predominantly a rural County dotted with delightful market towns and with Lincoln City as the County Town. It is a large County bounded on the east by the North Sea coast, with its attendant seaside resorts and to the West the counties of Leicestershire Nottinghamshire Derbyshire and Rutland.

The A1 runs through the County and joins us to the North and North West and to London in the South. The main East Coast railway line passes us at Newark, just 12 miles out of Lincoln with a new high speed train service direct from Lincoln City to London Kings Cross.

It’s possible to live the “village” life here, with all the pleasures that brings and yet still work in vibrant organisations at the forefront of service or product provision.

There is a lot to do in the County. You can find out more at a sister site for Lincolnshire Tourism.
